NATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION
The Bureau of Plant Industry participated in the DA-Gender
and Development Focal System's Celebration of the National Women's Day
Celebration held at the Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM) Convention
Hall last March 6, 2006. To meet this year's theme which is "CEDAW ng Bayan:
Karapatan ng Kababaihan," a briefing on the Convention
on the Elimination of All Forms of
Discrimination against Women (CEDAW)
was conducted and some other lectures entitled "Stress-free Living" and
"Overcoming Anger".
Women personnel from the different divisions of BPI participated in the said event.
